Business Process Management (BPM) is a business discipline or function that uses business practices, techniques and methods to create and improve business processes.
The value of BPM is the collaboration and awareness that is created accross the organization. The goal in using BPM as part of the LEAPForward Initiative was to look at opportunities to improve business processes while encouraging a holisitc interaction with stakeholders.
