The first phase of the new Illinois State University student information system is scheduled for migration into production during the weekend of August 1st - 3rd. To learn more, check out the August Release Details page.
The LEAPForward Town Hall meeting was held in the State Farm Hall of Business on Friday, June 13. There were nearly 150 in attendance along with more than 70 devices logged onto the LEAPForward website watching the live stream. The presentation highlighted major areas of the Initiative including an overview of the products that have been selected; an implementation time line; and the progress of implementing the various products. A demonstration of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions was also presented.
Workshops, training and configuration continue in the Professional Development Building. Admissions, Student Records and Financial Aid are currently working on configuration for the new student information system. Student Accounts will begin training next week and Academic Advising will begin workshops in late summer.

LEAPForward held the official kick-off with Oracle’s project leadership team for the new Illinois State University Student Information System (SIS). There were more than 75 people in attendance including numerous departments across campus, the LEAPForward team, and University leadership. The implementation of Oracle’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions will begin in February.
LEAPForward is pleased to announce the selection of Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions as the Illinois State University Student Information System. Since the Initiative began in December of 2011, over 2,500 campus-wide participants, including a senior leadership steering team, logged over 35,000 hours in support of this effort. As we transition from planning to implementation, we want to once again express our gratitude for the hard work and determination of all those who participated.
The ITSM Tool, BI Environment, and Housing and Dining Tool RFPs have all officially closed. Vendor proposals are currently being evaluated. Final selections will be presented to the LEAPForward Steering Team and Board of Trustees for approval.
